Ronald Reagan on the
		      Eureka College Football Team

Ronald Reagan was a member of the Eureka College football team in 1931. In this black and white photograph, he is pictured with his team members on the field under the goal post. There are 27 players, two coaches, and what is likely a ball boy who is wearing a sports sweater with a large capital E sown on it. The team members wear their uniforms: long-sleeved black shirts, tan pants that end at the knee, white socks, and dark, soft leather football shoes. The coaches are wearing long-sleeved white shirts; pale-colored, stripped, regular-length pants; and light colored caps. One of the coaches has the brim of his cap jauntily folded back. The team is assembled in three rows. The boys in the first row sit cross-legged on the ground. The second row is seated on a bench and the third stands behind them. The coaches are standing in the third row to the left. Although they all look pleasant enough, there are only three boys who are smiling – one of them is Ronald Reagan who is seated second from the right in the first row.
